Journey up the Mountain

Mountains. I compare my life to climbing them. However, not just climbing any mountain – Mount Everest. It has captivated me ever since seeing a picture of it in a National Geographic magazine when I was young. From that point, I have had my sights set on climbing it. I took the adventure seriously until I got injured in the Army in April 2003. I stopped dreaming about doing a lot of things since being wounded physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I still think of going to base camp when I’m 50 years old. I am a survivor! This book will be about my ascent to be an Army Chaplain and descent becoming a Disabled Veteran. There will be four sections to the book – The Mountain, The Spiritual Mountain, The Spiritual Guide, and The Summit of Salvation.

From this point on, I will start blogging about the contents of the book. I welcome your comments.
